Ordering to a Quebec address
Writing a Quebec address
Put the apartment number before the civic number with a dash (for example 4-1234 rue Saint-Denis) or on its own line – both work. Accents are fine. Always include the postal code.
Duplexes and triplexes
In Montréal plexes each door has its own civic number. Use the number on your own door, not the building, so the parcel does not end up with a neighbour.
Regions far from Montréal
Abitibi, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, the Bas-Saint-Laurent and the Gaspé are served through regional plants, so allow a day or two more. Winter storms on the 117 and the 20 can add a day.
